It has been sixteen years since Olympic Orchids Perfumes was first established. Best of all, we have so many wonderful customers! As is now traditional, to thank you for your business, we will be offering a 20% discount on any order of $20 or more through July 31. All you have to do is enter the code SIXTEEN20 at checkout.  

This code cannot be applied retroactively to orders placed before July 1, and will not be extended beyond July 31. You will have plenty of time to order your favorite fragrances during the time it is active or try samples and decide what to order. Please understand that everything in life is a trade-off, and that the discounted prices in July are accompanied by potential long delays in shipping, especially for popular or custom items.

Once again, I would like to emphasize that we are a small team, doing everything in-house. As a consequence, turnaround times are variable, depending on the volume of orders, whether specific fragrances are in stock or not, and the availability of our team members to process orders. Some orders may ship right away, others may take significantly longer.

IMPORTANT: If you must receive your order by a certain date because you are only in the US for a short time, it is essential that you let us know the date by which you will leave. If it seems unlikely that we can ship to arrive by your deadline, we will cancel and refund your order.

If you need an item for a special occasion, you must let us know at the time you place your order, preferably by sending an email stating the date needed. We process orders in the sequence received unless you have requested expedited processing, so we may not see a note until we reach your order in the stack. We try to make sure customers receive their orders in a timely way, but cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date especially if you do not tell us the date and why you need your order by then.

We really appreciate the fact that 99% of customers are polite and patient, and we thank you for understanding that this is a 100% human-run business!

The cost for shipping a small package is more than the cost of a single sample, so we cannot ship single samples for free. The minimum purchase amount is $6.00 to cover the cost of postage.

I’m really sorry to have to write this, but international shipping seems to be in chaos right now. Several shipments have had the address changed by the postal service while en route, some appear not to have been scanned properly for tracking, and I just learned recently that a package addressed to Canada ended up in Puerto Rico! That address wasn’t changed – Canada was clearly still on the tracking info. The problem is not just with the USPS, which is typically reliable. Some things that have been shipped to me or to others via UPS never were delivered. Some customers have been charged excessive taxes and/or duties and refused the package, so it was sent back to us.

I blame it on excessive automation and AI systems with no human oversight. Maybe some of these glitches can be corrected, but until then, there will be no international shipping to individual customers. I know this is frustrating for everyone, but that’s the way the world is this year. We do not ship to international addresses with the state listed as “WA”, so there is no point in trying.
