Description

A special edition for the Çafleurebon “Name that Tune” project, this fragrance is inspired by the 1968 Grateful Dead composition “Cryptical Envelopment/The Other One“. It is a psychedelic ramble from brightly blooming surreal flower garden to a mystical death and reawakening on the “bus to never ever land”. In the end, though, you can’t help but be “busted for smiling on a cloudy day”, or any other day for that matter. This is a big happy fragrance with floral tobacco and animalic undertones.  Notes: Rose, aromatic tobacco, lily, patchouli, davana, ginger, champaca, civet, dark musk, tolu balsam. Released 2017 .

First spritz was at a San Francisco Tigerlily event before it’s July 22, 2017 release date. I accidentally spritzed it over Andy Tauer’s also yet unreleased AT Attar. This haunted me for days afterward. Finally, this autumn 2018 Ellen brought it with her to her Tigerlily event and I was reunited with this marvelous perfume. Not to be missed.

A bouquet of spicy flowers tossed in just the right amount of animalic dirt. If Ellen’s scents are already infinitely strong and enduring throughout the bank, this one takes the cake. All over the place a great scent, but not for the faint of heart. A must for Covey fans.
